heart mercury

Formed in 2021 by frontman Bryce Bretherton, Heart Mercury set out to re-energize the Shreveport local metal scene. Drummer Bobbi Borden joined in 2023, helping to solidify their ideas and imagery.

In 2024, Billy Bretherton (aka Billy the Exterminator, star of the reality TV show of the same name) joined as the bassist, contributing his experience and funding to its future.

In 2025, Bobbi invited Kate Hearon to join as their guitarist, finally locking in their industrial/horror metal sound. The four members are dedicated to bringing stadium-level energy and sound to local venues.

Vampyre Court of Shreveport

Established in 2020, the Vampyre Court of Shreveport (VCS) is a community organization and subculture group dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive haven for those who identify with vampire and gothic lifestyles.

The VCS focuses on community building and cultural appreciation rather than any specific religious path. Its core philosophy centers on the vampire as a metaphor for the outcast, transforming perceived "otherness" into a platform for mentorship and mutual support. The organization received formal blessings from established courts in New Orleans and Dallas to serve the Northwest Louisiana region.
